I tried this on my Sony A7CII and A7RIII. I am really enjoying it. It does what it claims to do. It gives the images a lo-fi disposable camera look straight out of camera without any post adjustments, unless you want them. I punch into the aps-c crop for a 42-43mm option on some things. A metal or heavier quality plastic would be a welcome upgrade, but this one works as described and I personally find it very fun to use. If you understand it's intentions and limitations, you will enjoy the results.

Such a fun little "upgrade" for my camera. Having a simpler lens forces you to make creative choices with ISO and shutter speed. I've really enjoyed shooting video with it as well!

This is just what I was looking for! I wanted a lens to make my camera 'smaller' and easier to travel with so I wouldnt have to buy a seperate point and shoot for personal trips or shoots. And I love the nostalgia effect it adds to the photos. It does take some effort to work within the focus range, but they have that Pro lens if you want something more adjustable. Here is an image straight from the camera and then the same image with my 'edit' on it.

The lens really adds nostalgia but most importantly the personal memories of that nostalgia…the felt experience. Now that I’m older and use a relatively good camera, it’s a new relationship that’s been formed. Included with my review is a photograph made into a simple video with text. I use it before in begin a stream. I do wish I knew about the Pro that just came out the same month I bought the (now older) lens. Perhaps in a get a discount to for the Pro lens? What I loved about is is basically I had expected to love about it: it is simple. I use it on a Canon EOS R8 and the camera fits in my pocket with the lens. The photos are sharp enough, the vignetting and the colors of the image gives the eternalized memory such a vinrage vibe

This is cool and totally worth it. The picture of my friend looking to the right was taken with the pocket dispo lens on a Sony a7rv and, the other picture was taken with a Sony a7rv and sony G master 16-35 ii. I think its not a replacement for anything but cool to have on the side for sure!! We all loved the photos taken with this lens on the trip. Very soft light and I actually like that it looks like nothing is in focus.
