Thank you for your purchase!
Here’s how to get started on your Nikon DSLR:

step one
Mount your lens
Line up the side notch on your Pocket Dispo with the lens alignment dot on your camera. Then twist to lock it in place.

step two
Dialing your settings
You’ll need to shoot in Manual mode with the Pocket Dispo lens since the camera won’t detect it electronically.
The aperture is fixed at f/11, so exposure comes down to two settings: shutter speed and ISO.
Start with a shutter speed that fits your scene — faster for motion, slower for stills. Then raise or lower the ISO based on available light.
💡 Tip: For best results, shoot in daylight or bright outdoor conditions.

step three
Understand the focus plane
Pocket Dispo uses real disposable camera lenses, giving you soft edges, mild distortion, and sharp center focus. Keep your subjects centered, and crop in post if you want to reduce edge blur.

step four
Finish the look
Take your photos to the next level with Pocket Dispo Film Simulation Presets. Created by professional color scientists, they’re built to complement our lens and recreate authentic film tones. Just apply in Lightroom for a rich, nostalgic look.
Happy Shooting! 🎞️
